CCEF welcomes applications for students who intend to conduct researches that fits in our various programs and services. CCEF’s research work encompass a wide variety of work that focuses on:

  • Coastal resource management and effective marine protected areas;
  • Environmentally-friendly enterprises, such as marine ecotourism;
  • Education related to coastal management, governance and finances;
  • Information and library services for coastal management systems.

CCEF does not pay for the costs associated with research as well as the travel, accommodation, and incidental expenses of the researcher. The costs associated with the latter must be borne by the nominating institution, related institution or government which may provide the required financial assistance to its students, or by the student who will have to obtain financing for subsistence to make his or her own arrangements for travel, accommodation, etc.

Applicants interested in conducting research related to the work of CCEF should send a letter of intent to, together with a copy of resume/cv and brief description of the research.
