About the A. White Library

The A. White Library and Learning Center for Coastal Resource Management was launched on July 1, 2005. The simple ceremony was officiated by Fr. Raul Ragay and was followed by an inspirational image by CCEF President, Dr. Alan White. The bulk of the materials that made up the initial library collection was Dr. White's personal collection he has compiled through the years of working in coastal resource management.

The library is another way of CCEF implementing coastal resource management by educating, sharing information, and encouraging the public to learn more about the marine environment.

There is an annual library membership fee of 100 Pesos with a discounted rate for students at 75 Pesos. Membership forms are available at the front desk of CCEF's office. The membership fee allows borrowing of at most two reference materials at a time.

The library is open from Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. daily (with noon break). The official address of the Alan White Library and Learning Center in Coastal Resource Management is:

Rm. 302, PDI Condominium, Archbishop Reyes Ave., Banilad (in front of Gaisano Country Mall)
